The 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge has taken the shooting industry by storm. Many options exist for the supersonic category, but few if any for Subsonic. That’s where Chalk 1 Munitions comes to the rescue.

Utilizing only the highest quality, AMERICAN MADE components, we offer a subsonic cartridge loaded with the Hornady® 140 gr Open Tip Match, with a muzzle velocity of 1,050 feet-per-second. We use a special volume-enhancing powder, eliminating free-space in the cartridge and ensuring consistent ignition. Specifically designed with the Ruger Precision Rifle in mind, the Cartridge Overall Length is built to SAAMI specification and will fit in any .308 magazine- from PMAG’s to the standard AR-10. Optimal stability is achieved from rifles with a 1:8″ twist or faster.

It is amazingly quiet and accurate, even at distances over 100 yards. Perfectly suited for dispatching predators at night or getting those who are younger or unfamiliar with firearms into the shooting sports.

This ammunition is non-cycling, optimized for bolt-action rifle configurations. Not recommended for use in any AR-10 style platform unless you have an adjustable gas block and it is in the closed position.
